We have just received a mive quarterly bill from british gas for our gas supply. We have looked into whether we have a gas leak but we do not. Our usage is probably less this quarter than the last quarter as the colder weather was at the end of last year not the beginning of this one. Our bill for oct - beg jan was about �140. Our bill for Beg jan to 9th apr is �347. We believe it could be one of 2 things. Faulty Gas meter? We had our boiler serviced in january which seems like more than a coincidence and the central heating dial was on number 6 out of 1 to 6. We dont change the setting at all ourselves so has our engineer altered them and therefore we are using more gas?
