Why do Liberals worship at the altar of marxist murderer, Che Guevara?

Liberals always admire socialist and communist leaders who speak and write well until they find out how many people they have killed and enslaved to maintain their power. I am old enough to have heard people speak well of Lenin and Mao until their crimes against their own people became known. Socialism and communism always degenerate into bloody tyranny but the libs keep latching on to the next leader that inspires a cult of personality.
