Im having problems with roadrunner online.......?

everytime i try to get online it tells me that internet is not working so i have to go to the modem box and dissconnect it and connect it back then it starts to work. im getting so pissed because i have 2 do this everytime im gon get online has this happened to anyone here??who here has roadrunner with this same problem and what did u do? do i have to call and ask for a new box or something??plz help
