I am 6 weeks pregnant and wondering about antidepressants and the effects on pregnancy..?

I was taking antidepressants for almost 8 years and was weened off of them last week. I was taking Effexor and Wellbutrin (both at maximum dosages). I have been feeling the "zaps" and feeling very moody. My Ob/GYN said that there is a very "slim" chance that if I do take the Antidepressants while I am pregnant that something can happen to the fetus. I also did research and read that it is more harmful for the mother to "STOP TAKING ANTIDEPRESSANTS IF SHE NEEDS THEM" than it is to the fetus. Has anyone been in this situation where they need to be on medication but were afraid of the consequences to both yourself (or someone you knew) and the fetus?
